Agilent GC detectors include flame ionization detectors (FID) and thermal conductivity detectors (TCD). But Agilent specialized selective gas chromatography detectors can dramatically improve your ability to detect compounds in matrix. These include electron capture detectors (ECD) halogenated compounds, nitrogen phosphorus detectors (NPD) for nitrogen or phosphorus compounds, and flame photometric detectors (FPD) detectors for sulfur and phosphorus compounds. For greater selectivity and sensitivity, specialized chemiluminesence detectors for sulfur and nitrogen are used to detect trace levels of these impurities. Agilent also works with a range of partners to provide detection systems to meet any gas chromatographic need.
